Blessed. Blessed is the first word that comes to mind when I think about this past weekend, all the festivities and surprises that my friends had planned, and all the love I have been surrounded by. I think the hardest posts to write are the ones when I feel most blessed! I want to show every detail of every moment and how much each special moment means to me.
Sometimes I don't post at all about these special moments because I feel there is no way a few words and pictures can show you how grateful I am for the love, relationships, and encouragement God has put in my life.
But I do want to give you a little glimpse of how wonderful this past weekend has been and the many surprises my roommates and best friends planned for me.
Frozen on Ice with my good friend Joni...
She always plans the best surprises!
Olaf shirts and all...
Then my good friend Carly took me to have a very fancy dinner in Atlanta at Canoe.
It was INCREDIBLE y'all. I ordered the Rainbow Trout and lobster ravioli.
and haven't stopped talking about it all week.
Then my actual birth DAY came along, and I was completely surprised when we showed up at the pumpkin patch:
Do my besties know me, or what!?
We picked out some good ones for carving and painting...
and then we were headed off to dinner at Last Resort in downtown, Athens...
where I was then treated to some of Athen's finest cuisine! (I ordered the Chicken in Parchment. GET IT. Seriously)
Please excuse the following fuzzy picture... the lighting was terrible and we were too excited to turn on the flash:
Afterwards, we headed off to Trader Joe's to pick up dessert! I chose a cheesecake and TJ's newest Cookies and Cream Cookie Butter (Yep, you need to try this one too!)
It was an INCREDIBLE weekend full of my favorite things and my favorite people. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but I don't feel there are enough pictures or words in the world to say how incredibly blessed I am for these friends! 21 is the best year yet!
I hope your weekend was great as well!
Happy Tuesday, friends!
